Additionally, all artifacts created by students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills (computer programs for computer science, lesson plans for teachers, specific essays, etc) can be customized in the system. Assessments in courses are enabled by a built-in Course Management System. It includes a variety of instruments for assessments, such as assignments, projects, quizzes, exams, observations, and course-based portfolios. A sophisticated rubric builder allows the creation and use of custom grade sheets and rubrics, allowing full outcomes-based assessments. An electronic portfolio system allows students to create outcomes-based portfolios, documenting their key achievements. These can be program-driven, according to specifications provided by the unit, and assessed on performance, or, can be created by students independently, to document aspects of their significant work through their course of study. Portfolios can be exported to CDs and websites, or can be shared seamlessly with potential employers, through the Job Management System. A Field Experience Management and Assessment System allow supervision and assessment of students as they go through fieldwork, practical training or clinical practice. All assessment data collected is aggregated and combined with other data in the system for reporting. A Transition Points Manager allows the program of study to be divided into multiple gateways or transition points, along with the definition of a checklist of requirements that must be met by students in each gateway before progressing to the next stage. Faculty can develop their syllabi aligned directly with outcomes or standards’; allowing systematic planning at the unit level, to ensure that all instruction delivered at the unit is aligned with the vision of the unit.

Data import and export enables seamless integration with all your data

RevInfotech was designed to give you comprehensive reports on all your data, not just the data it aggregates from its direct use. That’s why we built in the ability to import data from other systems that contain other data that you need for reports. RevInfotech imports student demographic data, transcripts, information on all courses, professional examination test scores, and other pertinent data, and aggregates them with the assessment, field experience, advisement, job placement, survey, and other data in the system. The result is a seamless integration of all your data in one location, giving you a combined and complete view of your unit’s activities. More importantly, it lets you generate internal and institutional reports on all this data in an integrated fashion. RevInfotech also exports data to other systems. Its integrated export module can export data in a variety of formats to suit different systems. All reports generated in the system can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis with programs or for integration with other documents. Most documents in the system can be exported to Microsoft Word. Portfolios can be exported to CD or web format.
